I think it was the year we came second under BFR. Liverpool away.

Some clown on the row in front of us was a Liverpool fan who had a ticket in our end.

5 minutes before kick off he popped on his scouse hat and scarf. Unfortunately for him this was at the exact time a flag was being passed in our direction.

The flag was held in place for a short time whilst he took a hiding underneath it.

Are people expecting trouble this Saturday what with it being them and a 530ko ?

The problem is they come from all over the UK so will be mingled in with us good citizens wherever we park - there have been skirmishes on the Broadway before now when mini buses come to pick the Manure up of the streets of Aston. I am reformed now and will be a model supporter unless called on to defend myself or others...

My neighbour two doors down is a Man U fan and I've just found out he is in the Trinity.
I get on OK with him and know he will keep a low profile.

If I see him there I will run up to him and put my scarf round him screaming at the top of my voice "Quick! Wear this you Fergie lover so you don't get any trouble!"

I counted 52 Manyooo shirts today driving through Puerto Del Carmen, 7 Celtic, 10 Rangers, 1 Wigan ,1 Norwich and a Carlisle United top. Funny thing is most of the Manyooo wearing tossers actually live over here and a good percentage of them are Indian and Chinese. Nuff said. Oh and the rest speak with a strange southern accent. Nuff said again. Plastic Wunkers.

Would people prefer a crowd of 34,000 and no Man U fans in the villa end or a sell out but plenty of them in our end.  I'd go for the latter, provided they dont act like idiots it's all money in the clubs coffers and will look better than swathes of empty seats.

I'd rather see plenty of empty seats than have them lot taking up the home areas, they're a vile lot!!!

Hate the brummie  ones with a passion and to be honest if they're in the villa ends and are vocal they should be done.
There used to be a coach load of them that always parked down witton in the early 80s and i couldn't wait to get into em. they had the brummie  reds flag and were always mouthy.
They parked at the other end a few yrs later and put the windows through in the vine. It's amazing how many there were then so god knows the numbers now. Wankers

I've sat in the home end once.  It was against Leicester in the League Cup in 2006/07.  It was a real cup tie, they equalised in the 85th minute and the home crowd were full of it.  That was horrible but not as bad as when Gabby got the winner with a minute to go in extra time.  The away end to my right went mental and it took every piece of self control I had not to do the same.  It kind of spoiled what was a cracking game and I vowed afterwards never to sit with the opposition again.

I sat in the Stretford end once, we lost and vassell did a overhead kick, I jumped up and no-one did anything, I said to my dad it's probably the only ground you can talk in a brummie accent in the home end and no-one will bat an eye lid

If it is any consolation my brother and I sat in the home end at Mould Trafford, was going fine and then Julian Joachim equalised and my brother got a little carried away. Thankfully there were only gloryhunters and tourists around us and we felt quite safe.

I sat in the Gwladys Street End at Goodison Park once, around 1984. We lost 4-0. It was a very depressing experience trying not to look forlorn as their goals went in.

I sat in the Railway End at the Sty in 1993 for a league cup game.
I had heard about 200 tickets were left with their lot and made my way down. I can remember standing on some pokey little staircase with noses all moaning about the ticket office opening late and because the one person selling them at an office window couldn't find where they put the remaining tickets from the previous day. `Bloody typical, it's always the same down here isnt it?` moaned some nose to me. `Mmm ` I said.
Talk about sitting firmly on your hands when Kevin Richardson scored, I was almost anally fisting myself.

Another time I went with a Leeds supporting mate for a league cup semi final against Forest in the late 1970s and we stood up the back of the Gelderd End. As a neutral I felt safe enough, but what a complete and utter bunch of knuckle dragging boneheads that lot were.
