There is money available in the shape of players who have a value.   The January window always has moderate players sold at beyond their true value so why aren't we playing in the same market?   Have a clear out of Bannan, Albrighton, Gabby (sob), Given, Ireland, Bent and any other under performers and use the money to buy a six foot five central stopper and a defensive midfield.   If other clubs can get top dollar for their cast offs (Palacios, Upson, Jenas etc.) why can't we?

I really truly believe there is a conspiracy to drive down the value of the club.   It is all too amateurish not to be a very clever destruction from within.
