For the last few days now SSN seems to have been an endless loop of reporters throwing every name they can think of at Redknapp and the dodgy geezer quite happy to play along and bat back with "good player". Every time. Talk about trying to create a story out of nothing.

Chris Samba would be a great buy (not that any interest has been registered by us). If old baggy face at QPR can tempt him then why can't we?

Apparently he's earning £100k per week at Anzhi, on the majority of which he pays 30% tax rather than the 45% that he'd be paying on the bulk of it if he joins us.

So to maintain his current income we'd probably need to triple the wage of our current highest earners, who we're keen to move along anyway.

Christopher Samba is about as off our current radar as Messi is.

We are apparently quite pointlessly going to trigger the release clause in Diame's contract. No doubt he will tell us to do one.

Is that solid info Karl?

A shame as again Samba would be fantastic and would be a magnetic to those set piece delieveries.

Again someone that should've been pursued more when he was at Blackburn.

I don't understand why we're not looking at the loan market more tbh especially with the board reluctant to get permanent signings in.

Dunno, but if we can get him too somehow it would be a massive signing.

No one worth their salt will choose us, unless we pay the kind of wages usually associated with LA Lakers or the bloke who does Susan Boyle's laundry.

Players would come, but you have to offer them money and stuff. Has anybody explained this 'capitalism' deal to the club?

Yes mate. Also that Sissoko is getting £70k a week at Newcastle, which blew us out the water.

At least his post match comments were not no one is coming, and were clearly saying we are still looking and trying.

70k, on a 6.5 year deal was due to the fee being 2 and not 12 million. I can see the reason, but it is a massive contract. Looked the part tonight.
