Malouda is an odd choice. Hardly covered himself in glory with his attitude. Not really a player for the positions we look weakest and would probably mean a change in formation than PL seems to play. That said, he was a fantastic winger two years ago. Interesting.

Chris Samba would be a great buy (not that any interest has been registered by us). If old baggy face at QPR can tempt him then why can't we?

If I were Lambert - Find a club

Who need a striker and have couple of quality midfielders and left back. Swap Bent for New Powerful Midfielder, and Left Back and perhaps a young player

Sell Agbonlahor to Sunderland for 10 millions

Buy 2 strikers to compete with Benteke and Weinnman with 10 millions

Use the money in kitty to buy another midfielder and central half.

Get a wide man on loan.

and hire a new defensive coach to help out Lambert.

Agree with selling Bent.  Totally disinterested tonight, & Benteke is a better prospect should be survive.

We have to go with Benteke and Weimann up front, with Gabby left and N'Zog on the right. Let's just sell Bent now and use the money on someone to organise the midfield. Please.

We are apparently quite pointlessly going to trigger the release clause in Diame's contract. No doubt he will tell us to do one.

Sell Bent. All our problems are solved.

Who. The. Fuck. To?

It's not a case of phoning up Stoke or Everton and saying "give us £10m and we'll send you Darren Bent". You need interest and an actual buyer.

I agree that Bent shouldn't be starting but he could potentially do a job from the bench in certain games.

Diame should've been purusued much more in the summer.

I'm pretty sure he didn't move to West Ham until the end of June so plenty of time for Lambert to make contact then.

Yeah don't understand this either. I'd imagine he'd have been on 20k a week at Wigan, 30k + now at West Ham so we'd have to offer 40k + surely especially with Arsenal sniffing. Now if we can't afford to give Sissoko from the french league a decent wage....

Couple of others...yes please to Hangeland. Him and I'd be much more confident on set pieces.

Not sure on Malouda, been frozen out at Chelsea and was shite in a few of the games they played him centrally last season.

I see Benayoun was on their bench, possible half season loan?

No way would we get £10m for gabby.

I really don't see the point in signing Malouda. As a signing last August, yes. Now? As useful as tits on a fish.
