We weren't doing too clever the January we signed Bent, but had a squad of players that had finished 6th the previous season.

Clark was looking good in Novemer/December. He's a good prospect who ideally would have limited exposure in order to develop properly. Unfortunately we haven't had that luxury. If we can get another centre half in or get Dunne fit (or preferably both) we could take him out of the front line for a bit.

Sorry never seen it in him.  He's had a few games where he looked kind of okay when he's had a more experienced partner, but to me he  lacks the pace, strength and anticipation to succeed at CB at PL level.      And with his shirt pulling it's only a question of time before he costs us a penalty. Unless he changes position to somewhere where those qualities are not so vital, and he perhaps has the ability on the ball to maybe become a Barry type midfielder.

I think we would stay up, playing 3-5-2 with the players to make it stick, but that needs a centre half and 2 strong, bug centre mids.
