Villa airport also at a stand still - all flights to Witton island cancelled. Signings this weekend will be limited to Scandinavian defenders in Volvo's with snow chains.

Nice to have you back Ian, hope all is well with you!

Did I see Villa Submariner back on here too, albeit under a different guise?

Good time to all rally round for the cause

Thanks Rich, much better thanks.

Bazza's here there and everywhere, he stalks the world in his throbbing tube of black death...

Thanks, that's very kind, much better thanks.

So... with your return, and welcome back, what is with the cryptic watching people? Should anyone be worried?

Thanks for the welcome.

You know Ian some people might associate your sudden return during the January transfer window as an omen that something, anything good might actually happen in the next 13 days. No pressure like.

Good to have you back sir

Looking at location and signature, I am more concerned that Ian is scouting for a good grassy knoll!

The manager has made it fairly clear that there is not going to be a huge amount of activity, so I think we can forget about the likes of Sissoko and think maybe Boateng and Sinclair on loan. Inspiring stuff this window when you are in the bottom 3.

I am still holding out for all of that to be a bluff and Gandalf the White will be seen on top of the hill to save us.

Lol....

Our team are more likely to have Frodo wiggling his hairy toe at us than Gandalf spreading some magic dust.

Keep the faith all will be well, when i've finished my eighteen holes of golf in a balmy 24 degrees and sank a few beers out on the decking i will return, confident that our manager has everything under control. With the return of Ian i feel a halo of positivity surrounding me. Got to dash, be late for tee off.

Its being reported Lambert might not sign anyone this window. Trying for 'one or two' but 'we go with what we ve got'. I really dont understand why randy wont show the money.. Its a case that alot more income next season or face the drop and massive financial implications. This is so annoying if true that we re okay if we dont sign anyone. Arghhh !! :(

Really depends on his view of 'what we've got'. If that includes Bent we've every chance. If not we're fucked.

True, if it includes a fit Dunne and Vlaar, and Bent in the team with Benteke, then we stand a chance.

i do hope so.. Though chaps im not convinced with dunne being able to return to any sort of form. Be tough for him to pick up match fitness be a few months and several games before he can be 100% and then how good wud he be?
