Sunderland or us?

I've been told it's by us.

Well that makes zero sense.
I know, I can't find a link to the bid anywhere either. Could be getting in a striker to cover for Bent's possible departure? I suppose that would sense.

Someone on twitter said they heard we are holding emergency talks with RDM on Radio WM.

We need new players, not a change of manager.

Perhaps he's coming as a player?

Bloody hope not! I've given up on PL anyway but that would just confirm he is beyond useless. A striker is the last thing we need at the moment.

We need players all over the pitch. £5m isn't much for someone who has scored a few though it would surprise me unless there's someone else going out the door....

It's possible that we have several players lined up, and this is the first that anyone has heard about, so it could only 'confirm that the manager is useless' is the eyes of a total idiot.

I disagree. We have Benteke, Weimann, Bent, Gabby and Bowery as striking options. Benteke/Weimann have 17 between them! The problem is that the rest of the team (especially midfield) are not chipping in with any goals and are also still lacking in creativity. We don't have alot of money, so to spend 5m out of the little that we do have is just a waste. We need quite a few midfielders and a couple of defenders before we even entertain the thought of getting another striker.

A few people are very adamant on VT that the finance Lambert thought he was getting this month, has been pulled. Would explain why we've not brought anyone in (yet)
If its true that the money has been pulled then I think these RDM rumours may well be true!

Maybe someone is going out. I don't know. Neither do you.

So until we have the full picture in front of us it's still up in the air as to whether Lambert is 'beyond useless'.
