Yes, i agree that its not right promoting your own blog, but talking about etiquette then insulting someone and telling them to fuck off seems a tad contradictory.

I might be missing something here, and no offence intended, but, is this not the same as Dave Woodhall posting his 'Mail Report'?

Bearing in mind Dave set up H&V in the first place, then no.

Glad to see you keeping your reputation intact clampy!

Personally I enjoy a read of daves article each week and have nothing against curious oranges article either although maybe he could perhaps copy and paste it here rather than linking it as some seem unhappy with posting a link?

My latest Villa article is, surprise surprise, about our transfer policy. Check it out here: http://pickourteam.com/premierleague/news/10-01-2013/villa-need-experience-now-youngsters-later/810957
is there not some rule about advertising badly written blogs on the main forum?
if you have something to say, then say it here.To keep reffering members of this site to rubbish you have said on another site is not etiquette.
By the way, despite the fact that you have a blog does not automaticaly mean that you have anything that is either usefull or interesting to say. I hope you have a day job.Now fuck off

Now apologise.

Get a room boys, if you want to argue do it via mail, so we don't have to scroll past these page long quote bitch-a-thons.  The thread is called transfer speculation not bitch fighting.

Point taken and noted gonzo !

With Vlaar back in training it takes away the urgency of signing a defender so maybe midfield will  be the target area for a new signing, or do people still feel we need another defender even if Vlaar will be fit?

Clampy and eastie, i've had to ask before for you two to stop taking over threads with your squabbling. Please pack it in a bit.

I don't think it does take the urgency away at all.

in fairness the odd bitch-a-thon does give us a break from all the transfer news and busy player signing schedule we have to endure at this time of year

So you feel we still need another defender even if Vlaar is back Paul?

I think so, if he gets injured again we're in deep shit. There's a reason why teams do not play two young central defenders together, and they pretty much always pair them up with more experienced one.
