It would be particularly galling if we allow him to end up at QPR when our defence is desperate for an experienced centreback. If Lescott leaves Man City we have to make sure he comes to us and not a relegation rival.

Well as much as i'm a cynical person, I don't believe that. Some would rather play than sit on their arses in the reserves. They're just the minority. -
