i think anyone who seriously thinks Joleon Lescott will agree to come to us needs to take a long hard look in the mirror.

He runs his own Clothing range with fellow footballer and friend Jordan Stewart, which is run from Manchester, another reason not to come.

So the Lescott rumours really are pants?

Very good Bren'd.

Can't anyone run a business, with a partner, from 80 miles away these days then?

Oh well that's that then.  Does he have to work on the stall on Saturdays then?

I've never heard anything like it

Blimey, imagine the logistics of trying to run a business based in Manchester if you were having to work in Birmingham. Simply can't be done. Perhaps the reason he misses so many games for City is that he  can't afford to take the time off ? Saturdays in particular must be busy I imagine.

i think anyone who seriously thinks Joleon Lescott will agree to come to us needs to take a long hard look in the mirror.  If one centre half gets injured at Man City he finds himself involved in yet another title race, who's going to swap that for a relegation battle at a club who have done nothing but slate him with quite an evil song every time he's played against us during his career?

He runs his own Clothing range with fellow footballer and friend Jordan Stewart, which is run from Manchester, another reason not to come.

I'm sorry, but the Dempsey deal in the summer was more realistic than this.  BUT - I hope i'm wrong.

The first thing is the reason, especially with Kolo disappearing to the ANC for the month. The clothing company wouldn't have been an issue as he is no further then an hour away from Manchester.

Press bollox.  He's managed 2 games in the Championship so far this season and is surplus to requirements at Spuds, he was on loan to our physio room last year, move along nothing to see.

I think Jenas only played a couple of times on loan at Forest didn't he? Injuries have got the better of his career I think.

Fuckin'ell have a bite! I said the clothing company is just another reason for him to stay, i'm just taking everything into consideration i don't expect him to come out on SSN and say: 'I will not be joining Aston Villa on the Basis i have a clothing range up north.'
