I think Forren is the guy Man U have been sniffing round for a while. ( playing for OGS's side). Certainly highly rated. Where's the story come from DC5?
Its in here somewhere - http://www.football-rumours.co.uk/index.html
It was some time yesterday that it was put on there. You have to trawl a bit and ignore all the adverts that are flashing up.

Ok ta. Shame, I've heard good things about him and at 24 he'd not be too far off being a starter.

Don't buy papers. certainly not the Daily mail. Or the Guardian for that matter.

Me neither, can read them online for free these days.

@thegoalzone: Villa boss Paul Lambert says Agbonlahor, N'Zogbia and Bent are all training but unlikely to play tomorrow-
@thegoalzone: Lambert also added that they don't HAVE to sell anyone including Darren bent

@thegoalzone: Lambert would not be pushed on Lescott and would not say yes or no but did say that they are talking internally about lots of signings

@AvfcMysteryman: But I would keep your eyes on #Fulham as Bent's agents have spoken #AVFC as of now it looks like Bent is off to Fulham #thingscanchange

@AvfcMysteryman: #AVFC Bent will NOT be sold to #QPR

Isn't that yet-another-complete-bullshit twatter idiot who spouts complete and utter bollocks?

To everyone except eastie, yes.

Is that not in the title of the thread paulie - I know nothing about the guy and certainly doesn't mean it's true but I dare say 90% of rumours posted on here are bollocks - we shall see .

Just because a link is posted doesnt mean that whoever posts it believes it to be true, as the thread title suggests.

We are all in the dark unless of course Paulie you know 100%  bent will not go to Fulham.

I tend to not bother posting utter crud off twitter.

I doubt the Daily Mail know what our budget is. I could see us spending about £12-15 million and one loan player as well.

Let's stop all this fcuking around and get Lescott in.  He comes, others will follow.  I'm sure RL realises just how much relegation would cost us this season of all years and let's face it we are in the shit.  Time for big balls.

Exactly what 'fucking around' have we been doing?

If only it was that easy.

Does he want to come to B6?
Would Mancini let him with players away in the African Cup?
Will Villa meet his wage expectations?
What other clubs would be interested if he was available?

Many questions and a lot to fall into place for him to come to VP.  ;)

If Lescott comes in and works with Vlaar/Dunne we might stop conceding 17 goals in four games. It will breed confidence from the back and we might push ourselves out of this relegation quagmire (giggidy giggidy). We need two experienced center backs to help us out of this.

I think Forren is in talks with a club over a  £4m deal, believed to be Fulham.

My brother drives me mad saying things like this every 10 mins in January, like it's all in Villa's hands and they only need to pick the phone up and pay the money to bring Player X in.

I would love to see Lescott come to Villa, however with Kolo Toure going to the ACN and Kompany recently injured, it's hard to see Mancini's words being bluff.

Regarding Richard Dunne, I've seen bits on various news sites linking him with a move away.

Although not the greatest defender and prone to the 'odd' costly mistake in games I still think he could do a job for us, his experience could prove vital in the months ahead.  I can't see us getting any real fee for him with his contract expiring in 6 months, therefore surely worth hanging onto and used to help bring the younger players through, obviously assuming his attitude, which I understand has been questionable in the past, is right.

Unless of course, PL has plans in that department...
