Is that not in the title of the thread paulie - I know nothing about the guy and certainly doesn't mean it's true but I dare say 90% of rumours posted on here are bollocks - we shall see .

True clampy, like I see none of us know who will be joining us or leaving and until its on the official site take it all with a pinch of salt, I'd like to see lescott come in but nursey is hardly the most reliable journalist either.

I tend to have more faith in kendrick than others.

BBC Sport's Pat Murphy at the Aston Villa press conference reports that manager Paul Lambert says he has no plans to sell striker Darren Bent this month.

"I don't want to sell anybody and it would be daft to sell him to one of our rivals in the lower part of the table," says Lambert, who added that Bent, who resumes training today, will be back in contention once he has recovered from his hamstring injury, and he also plans to rest Christian Benteke soon.

However, Lambert wouldn't be drawn on speculation linking Villa with Joleon Lescott & Robbie Keane.
