No he's not. They are managed by Mike Petke right now and former Scotland manager Andy Roxburgh is their Sporting Director.

Yes just checked , houllier is New York red bulls global adviser whatever that entails, but I'd be surprised if dunne went there.

He would fit in with the other "Supersize me" fatties there though.

Global advisor is a role that involves sitting on ones arse, watching a game or two on TV or internet, sending a text once in a while and answering some quick questions on his mobile in between drinking "medicinal" red wine with some well prepared meat. He won't have any say on whether Dunne goes to New York. Given the size of the Irish community in New York it wouldn't surprise me at all to see him there.

I'm thinking this Global Advisor role is something I could do quite well.
Methinks Villa could do with one right now....O.K. I'll take the job.

It came across to me as more of a "hello everybody peeps innit" kind of accent...

Tim Cahill anybody?

Not sure what kind of shape he is in these days (didn't he have a lot of injuries before he went out to the US?), but at his best he would be the type of player we need in that attacking midfielder role.

According to The Telegraph, Lambert will have £10M to spend in january. If that's true (and only time will tell) with all we need, we really are screwed big time. Strap yourselves in, we're in for a bumpy ride.

10 million plus sales was the figure. Couple of loans, couple of permanent for 5 million and 10 million goes a long way. Especially if you scout well. Lets say the beastly Ghanaian midfielder we were linked with comes for 2 million, we get Guidetti on loan, Keane on loan for 10 weeks, and Dawson for 6 million. Suddenly we are in better shape. Probably sign none of these, but it is an example that we can be better off with that much. Add another 12 for Bent and Dunnes wages going, and you could be in for 4 good signings.
