Is it true that our starting 11 only cost 12 million quid yesterday ?

And if so that must be some sort of prem record for cheapness,
Although with Bent,Ireland And NZog there is 40 mill sitting around scratching there arses

I wouldn't mind Mulumbu either. With the added bonus that when he's not playing he could wear a dirty mac and solve crimes.

Guzan - £250K (I think)
Lichaj - Free
Baker - Free
Herd - Free
Clark - Free
Lowton - £2 million
Bannan - Free
Westwood - £4 million (I think)
Holman - Free
Benteke - £7 million
Weimann - Free

£11.25 million if I have my figures correct, certainly no more than £14 million

Lowton - £3 million (although it was undisclosed this is the most common figure)
Bannan - Free
Westwood - £2 million (see Lowton)
Holman - Free
Benteke - £7 million
Weimann - Free

A whopping £12million. Or just over half a Downing.

That is a shit team to be fair. As Hansen famously said, you dont win nothing with kids, there again you can beat the bin dippers with a young team

Even with the reported £3m for Lowton, his brother laughed at that on Twitter and said it was nothing like that. From what he said, I'm guessing that it was more like £1m (possibly with add-ons).

I like Trotter of Millwall but another is midfielder James Henry who we could  target as he is out of contract in summer. sort of young creative midfielder to go for.

Andy King from Leicester is another Championship player who plays in the attacking midfield role, though I think he has regressed a little after suffering a couple of bad injuries.

The City fans I know all say he has gone backwards significantly and get's far too much coverage for his ability.

To be fair he's had a number of pretty bad injuries in a short space of time.  Shame, because a couple of seasons ago he looked very promising.

We've been linked with Harry Forrester this morning.  I saw one of his Brentford goals on Goals on Sunday to my dad a few weeks ago and I had a feeling we'd go in for him. Don't know why.

Forrestor...it would seem odd.  £1m to sign a teenager who we then let walk away for nothing.  Another case of mistakes being made due to our unsettled management in the last few years.

I seem to remember his mom and been unwell, and he'd wanted to be back down south with his family when he left.

Very talented youngster who never really played to his ability apart from the isolated brilliant game.
I'd be suprised if there was any truth in this.

Oh, so that's why he ended up at Brentford. I'd seen him linked with various clubs at home and abroad and couldn't figure why he ended up underneath the M4

Didn't he go to Ajax between leaving us and Brentford
