Heart says we can nick a draw, head says we've no chance, I'm voting with my heart though.

Seems odd as most teams after Europa games play at 3pm on a Sunday, definitely not on tv in england.Maybe mike Ashley needed a good roast inside him as he's looking a bit undernourished.

More than anything I want evidence that we are moving in the right direction. A solid resolute performance, plenty of discipline and creativity. Newcastle are a good side but as other teams have shown, anyone can beat anyone in this league if the attitude is positive and the performance is of the level required.

It'll be interesting to see who he decides to play in goal. He'll probably go with Given but he  said he was undecided the other day. Maybe it was just his way of giving Given a kick up the arse.

Given needs a kick up the arse, personally I'd play Guzan today.

Morning all.

I am up in Newcastle and fancy going to the game. Does anyone know whether you can buy tickets for the Villa end at the ground on the day or am I going to have to sit in the toon end?

Oh and, regrettably, I predict a 3-1 loss today.

I'd stick with shay for now but no doubt the pressure is on him to perform ,a bad game today and he will be out I feel.
