West Ham's home record last season wasn't overly impressive. My heart is going for a 2-1 Villa win, Bent and Holman.

Head says 2-2, but although it may be wishful thinking, I've got a good feeling for us, both for this game and the season as a whole.

Fuck it......1-3 Villa.  Bent, Holman and N'Zogbia after coming on as a sub.

I think we should have a poll for where we will be on MOD tonight. Hopefully not last, it should be more entertaining than anything we saw last season.
I'll go for 3rd game....

4th I think, Arsenal (no RVP), Liverpool (first Rodgers game) and Spurs (first AVB game) will be ahead of us.

They usually show the newly-promoted teams fairly early on day one so I reckon we'll be on third or fourth.

We'll be on first or second when we stick 7 past them later.

Motty's the commentator and with no really outstanding fixtures today I reckon we'll be on second after Newcastle/Spurs

Fancy us for a 2-1 win, Bent and Ireland to get on the scoresheet (assuming Ireland plays)

We havent lost on an opening day away since 2003.

That was when Pig Face came in and decided to drop Mellberg to the bench at Portsmouth.

Is it worth starting a streaming thread so the match thread wont get mashed?

3-2 Villa. Ireland scores 2 and sets-up Benty for the 3rd.

Can we stop discussing streams please guys, there are many reasons why, as you can imagine.
