It's reminded me of Enckelman as well then. Not just for THAT but generally just because he was very very shit. I noticed today that he is a reserve keeper for some random Scottish club. I really don't know how he ever made a lifelong career out of football.

I really don't know how he ever made a lifelong career out of football.No way, PE was in the main a very decent keeper, obv he will always be remembered for letting David Elleray prove that he was an abysmal ref but he also put in some superb performances that season that helped keep us up....I seem to remember one of them was against West Ham.Perhaps not top drawer but far from being 'very very shit'
Steve Hodge without a doubt for me, left us in a lurch after being in world cup 1986 when most Villa fans were proud to him being there. I was brought up in the early 70's and the players wanted to play for the mighty Aston Villa. People like Hodge have not got a clue what Aston Villa Football Club is abut
