Going 2-0 up against somebody *good* and knowing that we're going to win, and the Holte End singing Villa-Villa-Villaaaaaaaaa, and all my hairs standing on end.

Fucking hell, I've missed that

Some new signings.
Some improved individual performances from last season, especially from players like Ireland, N'Zogbia, Albrighton and Gabby.
Darren Bent getting decent service.
A better atmosphere at Villa Park.
More goals to cheer at Villa Park.
More wins to cheer at Villa Park.
More positive away performances.

Better football.
Trying to win.
The dissipation of defeatism.
Players improving rather than getting worse.

I'm also looking forward to being nice and civil to my family Saturday evening and all day Sunday.

Not having to be a fair way towards being pissed to contemplate entering the ground.

Scoring some goals.

Winning some home games.

Trying to beat the "super clubs".

It not being two hours of a day out to be endured rather than enjoyed.

Everyone pulling in the same direction for the first time in a long time.

Being able to walk into the White Horse after a match and not have Nose's and Baggies patronising me.
It's supposed to be my job to patronise them. Hopefully normal service will resume next season.

Meeting up with Risso and Blandy at Wigan

Likewise matey.  Shame that Blackburn and Bolton between them managed to lessen our opportunities for beer and a natter.
