Football being played a Villa Park again

On my one visit to Villa Park last season I saw some great football. Played by Swansea.

But yep I take your point.

Having lots of grounds near me where I can see the Villa - Reading, Southampton and West Ham to name three new ones for a start

I forgot about this one!  Nice!

No more talk about "Elite" teams.  (Unless they mean us.)

I hope never to hear a manager of Aston Villa refer to an "elite team" ever again.  I couldn't care less if our entire squad cost a fiver and the opposition cost a billion, I still expect any team representing Villa to believe in themselves, to believe in the club and believe in victory.

Players making themselves available at a throw in

No threads on here saying we will win most of our remaining games and all the other relegation candidates will lose theirs...period

Maybe buying some merchandise

Having lots of grounds near me where I can see the Villa - Reading, Southampton and West Ham to name three new ones for a start

You selfish devil you - I have lost two local derbies !!! - Bolton and Blackburn

How ya doing mate?

Ha, fine thanks Clive. Southampton was always a shoe in for me back in the Dell days and then the few times at St Mary's before they got relegated so will enjoy bowling along the M27 to that one! Hope you are good too...

1. No Heskey

2. Thinking we might win a game not hoping we scrape a draw

3. Being able to move at half-time (we're transferring to the Holte End from the North Stand)

4. Sitting / Standing in the Holte

5. errrr Goals (?!) anyone remeber them.

Being able to sit amongst other supporters in the upper holte instead of a sea of empty blue seats, a better atmosphere not only from the Holte but around the ground. The only time the whole ground sang together was at the end of the Bolton game against McLeish.

Villa players passing the ball

1.  To a team mate on purpose
2.  Knowing why they are passing it to them
3.  Not doing by accident or in desperation
4.  Towards the opposition goal
5.  To team mates in space
6.  To team mates in attacking positions
7.  To create goal scoring opportuniites
19. To a fit again Stan

I hope the days of regularly going into matches without the slightest intention of trying to win them are over.
