Apparently you have to quote their name exactly otherwise they don't exist........

Other than that you're backing up my point.

Not really, I'm saying certain people were rubbishing ITK's on here days ago and well before you came blundering in accusing everyone of being to blame for it. You then moan when we have linked to journalists or other claiming to be ITK. If people have posted stuff from others them blame the original sources, not the linkers. Look, if you are angry at people because you have bet big on OGS, I'm sure you aren't the only one.

Wow.

A) I'm sorry I missed the boat in rubbishing the ITKs. I haven't been online..... Apparently it was ok to do criticise ITKs day ago but not now? Because that's all I was saying in my original post; that all ITKs knew nothing.

B) I wasn't accusing everyone being to blame for it. Like I've said, just the ITKs.

C) I have blamed the original sources not the posters. Hence me saying ITKs know nothing not everyone on here talking about it too.

D) I'm not angry. I was angry with McLeish this season. I'm not at this.

E) I didn't place any money on Solskjaer being our manager.

Congratulations, you got everything in your argument wrong.

Quite why the general assumption is footballers and managers will move without a second thought for their families is beyond me.

Erm, because they stand to make millions of pounds from it?

So? Most of them are already loaded. And even if they aren't there is more to life than money you know. I'd put my family ahead of £ every single second of my life.

Do you really think Ole and his family are short of a quid?

But you're not a footballer are you?

Do you think Reo-Coker was starving to death when he demanded pay parity with Ashley Young? The vast majority of people involved in football are overwhelmingly driven by the idea of earning greater and greater riches, despite the fact they're all exceptionally well paid already. Don't underestimate the power of that.

Like all walks of life some footballers will be money obsessed. And bizarrely, when they don't show themselves to be money & trophy obsessed we call them unambitious and slate them for that. They can't win really can they?

Which is more important to you, money and your career or your family and their happiness?

What's more important to me is irrelevant though.

Just look at all the footballers and managers travelling around the world chasing pound signs. The vast majority will move their families if they get a big enough contract offer. I'm not saying OGS is one of them but suggesting he wouldn't consider us because he's happy living by the sea in Norway is a bit naive in my book.

I bet the majority of professional footballers never leave their country of birth.

I could argue it's incorrect to think that OGS would have different principles  regarding his family to you just because he's a footballer.

maybe just maybe OGS knows we are talking to others,
he wants the job but knows who the other candidates are, he also thinks that one of the candidates is hot favourite with Randy and feels he cant compete,
so has pulled out gracefully so not to upset the apple cart further at Molde

It is indeed folly to have multiple candidates. Pick your man and go after him, it's the best way in football.

It must have been a difficult decision if it was family-related. If Solksjaer has designs on the United job someday he'll definitely need a stepping stone between Molde and Man Yoo. I wouldn't exactly be pleased to lose him in that manner, but he must know that chances to build a reputation and prove himself in the Premier League don't come around too often for those outside of the established stable.

Whilst I don't agree with Aftabs original point on the family thing being agreed between both so we don't lose face, I would say that Røkke could easily match or double any wages that we could offer if he wanted to. So he could have the money and the family thing whilst also knowing that he is still young enough to move abroad at a much later date when the kids are older.

There is absolutely no way on earth a manager is ever going to go from Molde to Man U, no matter who they are.

He's apparently knocked back the likes of Wolves and Blackburn, so is clearly setting his sights higher than that as his next step, which makes you wonder where he's going to go.

Maybe it was too early for him (I'd understand that logic), but it is all confusing after him seemingly not being able to stop going on about how much he fancied the job for the last few days (even telling their directors he wanted to take his number 2 and 3, and their best player with him).

If you buy the family thing, then these are things that will have been on his mind from the start. It's not as if he's never lived in Britain, he spent 11 years here. His kids are practically English (according to him on that video).

I think something went on with the Molde chairman tonight (who sounds utterly fucking hatstand) and he's come out, decided not to go for it, and used the obvious reason.

Very odd.

What Damon said.

Is there any joy in your life at all?
[/quote]

I didnt want him adam so plenty currently, but if i had, i wouldn't have worked myself up into hysteria based on nothing and then got so disappointed i spent the time afterwards getting mardy with people like you and Damon. The club told you they were looking at more than one candidate, so did pelty.  Its your own fault you're upset.[

I am genuinely nervous at this point. All I can think is, what now? I don't think Lambert or Martinez will have any interest in joining tr club. They know how disoriented and disorganized it is at the moment. Solskjaer on the other hand has been outside of Britain and still knows us for the semi-successful well mannered club we used to be. Now, we're just a bunch of whining idiots with entitlement issues.

I think we are going to have another crazy name at the helm this year. I can't even begin to guess who will be in the dugout come the first match. It's going to be Phil Brown or some other crap name. I was really hoping for Ole, but I understand his decision if it indeed is because of family reasons. I'd rather have a loyal man than someone who jumps ship to a cross-town rival via email.

Greg, if you had ever supported Aston Villa, in word or deed, I might be able to take you seriously.
