OGS gone from 28/1 to 3/1 with Skybet

Out to 5/1 now. They, like us, haven't got a clue.

If nothing else, the Board should be applauded for keeping the bookies guessing!

anyone get 28/1 tonight ;)

no got 33/1 (£10) just thought it was worth a punt on sky bet, but lets face it its a bit of a  long shot,

well things can change quick in football , so you never know.

Quite why the general assumption is footballers and managers will move without a second thought for their families is beyond me.

Erm, because they stand to make millions of pounds from it?

So? Most of them are already loaded. And even if they aren't there is more to life than money you know. I'd put my family ahead of £ every single second of my life.

Do you really think Ole and his family are short of a quid?

But you're not a footballer are you?

Do you think Reo-Coker was starving to death when he demanded pay parity with Ashley Young? The vast majority of people involved in football are overwhelmingly driven by the idea of earning greater and greater riches, despite the fact they're all exceptionally well paid already. Don't underestimate the power of that.

Yeah you're correct. Absolutely no ITKs have been on here. No one on here has been mentioning MM or TheTrees or Tim Abraham or Gazton or Kendrick.

Tim Abraham and Kendrick are journalists. it is their job to talk about these things.

TheTrees, MM and Gazton all post on VillaTalk exclusively, not on here.

So you might want to do a bit of research before losing your rag about it.

And with regards to the last three many people have been talk ing about them on here. Hence my complaint that all these ITKs are chatting shite. Plus there have been more on here quoting from twitter and other places or claiming to be ITK themselves. I truly can't be arsed looking for them.

You are correct, there was definitely one person claiming ITK on here, but he was roundly rubbished days back.

Apparently you have to quote their name exactly otherwise they don't exist........

Other than that you're backing up my point.

It's probably John sticking his tenner on that's caused the odds to tumble.

Nobody's to blame,we all got carried away with the promise of a young manager playing a better more exciting brand of football and we had interviews and comments to boot, something that we've never had from any of the other applicants. All we really know is what the club tell us and that is they were very happy with the response the club recieved about the vacancy. We've all jumped the gun, i suggest we all take a deep breath and wait until the club tells us whats going on.

Ha ha ha, did he really do that?

I thought reading "OGS rules self out" minutes after a constant flow of "he's the new manager" tweets was going to be the big football "WHAT THE FUCK?" moment of the evening, but that beats it for me.

I knew he had a high opinion of himself, but crikey...

Well, if he signed up for the GM club he'd see exactly who it was that' sure OGS was coming. And I'm sure there'll be a few GM's asking for their money back after all the ITK bullshit spouted which has only come from Kendrick anyway. Let's not get all hoity toity about other people's opinions, eh?

So it's fine for someone to come on here slagging us off, but we're not allowed to point out that he was wrong?

I wasn't slagging anyone off. Just saying ITKs knew nothing. You're taking it way too personally, hence you're use of 'us'.

Pointing out where people have been incorrect is one thing. Many of your comments over the last dozen pages have been quite rude and condescending. I don't see the need for it.

Yep, we should be backing them now, its such an important appointment facing us. OSG is gone, fine, move on.

Ha nothing. I must admit I was gutted when his odds dropped, I thought I'd missed the boat. Turns out I didn't.

Like all walks of life some footballers will be money obsessed. And bizarrely, when they don't show themselves to be money & trophy obsessed we call them unambitious and slate them for that. They can't win really can they?

Which is more important to you, money and your career or your family and their happiness?
