Blue Nose Conundrum
« on: May 05, 2012, 05:04:01 PM »
So, as of today per an unexpected phone call, I've been faced with a tough decision.

My closest friend is a Blue Nose, and we have gradually developed a tradition where for Birthdays/Christmas etc. We take the other one to a game, so I take him down the Villa a couple of times a year and he takes me to the Sty. So for Christmas this year I took him to the Everton game at Villa Park, and for my Birthday he took me to Blues - Millwall (great choice, almost got into some trouble).

Anyways, he calls me today to inform me that he has been left with a spare ticket for the play-off second leg against Blackpool this wednesday, and wants to take me along.

Do I take this ticket? I have untill I have tonight to decide. On one hand, I might get the chance to be amongst 30,000 depressed 'Noses, but on the other I might have to bear the agony of them winning.

What do I do?

Tell him you'd rather stick hot pins in your eyes than go there.

Have the ticket but don't turn up, then we can laugh at how they couldn't fill their ground.

Or tell him you'd rather catch cat AIDS.

Gauge your eyes out with hot pins then say there's no point as you won't be able to see anything.

It sounds like you've already fulfilled your one game commitment, so I'd say let him offer the ticket to a genuine nose.

Dont go and also break off the friendship.
They say no man is an island but if I had to have noses for friends I would rather be a billy no mates loner and a hermit.

What have you done to him to deserve this horror?

I reckon he's found out you've been shagging his girlfriend behind his back.

Go, wear as much orange coloured gear as you can but don't do what you did at the Ipswich match.

Go.  Pretend your David Attenborough doing a documentary on an off shoot of the human species.  Don't be surprised if you become fascinated by the subject matter.

Or attacked by the subject matter.

For the Blues - Millwall game I was dared to wear claret and blue, to appear as both a Villain and a West Ham fan. I would not have survived the night.
