Calm the fuck down we've still got a gap and unless we lose Tuesday we're safe. Even then spurs look crap, wba are crap and Norwich have there sombreros on already.

Would love to have your confidence. Really would. I had us down on 37 points on the predictor thing. It would be possible to drop in on the last day of the season.

I agree, look I want Mcleish gone as we are only going one way with him. However I'm a Villa fan and I'm desperate for us to win on Tuesday. I genuinely can't see it though, we are really awful and struggle to score. If we do lose, we are in massive trouble.

I really think we'll lose on Tuesday and end up going down.

The draws are murdering us or have murdered us. If we had Bent fit you could argue those extra goals would tip more than the odd draw in our favour and we'd be in the top 10. But... ah well.

Its not even as though McLeish is playing a defensive side. Only the back 4 and Herd were what you might call defensive players. Three attacking mids and two strikers is aggressive. Its how they attack cohesively that the problems lie. How drilled they are in winning and then using the ball and that is the fault of the coaching/management staff.

still think bolton are the only one who can do us, so the swansea draw was a result for us. Blackburn could stay up but not at our expense i reckon. If bolton beat us then the alarms bells will really be going but i can't see it.

This is pretty much how I see it. However, while I don't think we'll lose on Tuesday, it's very possible and there's little between the two sides.

Plus they've already won at Villa Park this season.

I can't remember the last time we lost to Bolton at home can you lovejoy?!!!! Neither Spurs or WBA are crap, we most certainly are though. And then there's Norwich, last game of the season, go out on a bang, thank you to the fans etc etc. Whilst I still think we will stay up, this absolute certainty that we we will - as if it's unequivocal - is, as I said above, deeply mystifying.

Last home defeat I can remember is MON's first season, in front of 27,000.

Which must in fact be a lie as we never got shit crowds until AM arrived.

Hardly excessive. In terms of probability it's a definite possibility.

Our team from the League Cup game earlier this season -

01 Given
02 Hutton
03 Warnock
05 Dunne
06 Collins
07 Ireland
12 Albrighton (N'Zogbia - 73' )
19 Petrov
25 Bannan
11 Agbonlahor
14 Delfouneso

It was a weakened Bolton side that beat us that night.

Let's face it... even our strongest team is crap.

yep. Should be interesting whether they  come at us, because really a draw's not good enough for them after failing to beat swansea. I said they needed 2 draws and 2 wins out of their remaining games before today and given the other teams putting results together i reckon they still need 7 points from 5 games.

It is possible but still at this point unlikely and yet you believe this will happen.

Blackburn are gone in my opinion so it's anyone of four. I've put us down for two draws and escaping by a point and superior percentage. The only problem with that is any of the others are capable of winning we are not.
