Not going down, no way.
we will survive this season but statistically, if AM is in charge, we will go down next season, as he simply can't win enough games. The wider question is, if nothing changes, i.e. the holy trinity of RL, AM and PF remain, they may not have a business to preside over for very much longer. No one will want to join, players we may wish to keep may well want to leave, those players we want to go will stay as they know they will not command their hugely inflated salaries anywhere else, fans will stay away due to the mind-dumbing mediocrity of the entertainment on offer, investors and sponsors will look at more exciting, progressive and entertaining options, etc etc. I realise this sounds like a doomsday senario and I pray it never comes to fruition, but its not totally inconceiveable that it might.

Don't think you can prove it with stats, but it seems that when a team survives marginally one season they often go down the next, unless there is a change of manager, large investment in the squad, or big turnover of players etc.
Wolves,Blackburn,Villa are 33/1 to go down as a three with sky bet.
QPR winning at half time against Spurs.Just to show how worrying things could get if we were to lose to Bolton on Wednesday, the table would look like thisAston Villa 35 36QPR 35 34Bolton 34 34Wigan 35 34Blackburn 35 31Wolves 34 23That is what I call very frightening.
