Holloway would certainly be interesting and a better option than grayson , kmac , not the best option available but i could live with that choice , certainly not boring , just reading his autobiography actually on my kindle and very good it is too.

Albion are better than the Villa. Now I have heard it all on here.

If we appoint Holloway, I feel we're in for a Gregory type scenario. Fun at the start, attacking football, media attention because of the manager's soundbytes. Then we tire of him as he runs out of ideas and the soundbites become predictable and annoying.

Sorry for being so negative.

Aren't we all at the moment? Welcome to the site.

Thanks for your understanding, but watching our mighty football club beaning passed around on sky sports like a 3 quid whore really get my blood boiling, and I know I will get a kicking for this but "deadly" would never have let this happen.

Gregory never played attacking football, he was known for playing the exact opposite to the football Holloway plays, whether people like him or not is fair enough, but holloway does play attacking entertaining passing football, even on limited budgets

Albion better than villa, hell no. But might have more clue with appointing managers. Can you see them appointing the manager of relegated rival?

I can't stand holloway but at least we would go to old Trafford and try and win the game

If villa not big enough for Martinez, Rodgers not ready to jump, lambert  difficult to get released then? Still reckon Poyet best of rest, why is Grayson up there?

He spent a day at BH last week apparently, and some ITK or such put £80 on him at the bookies plus his odds have shortened somewhat today I believe! He worries me though, as I posted this morning:

At Leeds he kept them in a healthy enough league postion on a really shit budget under old Master Bates but he is relatively young, ex-Villa (signed by Sir Brian IIRC), and may by Saturday night have a promotion under his belt (albeit with someone else's team). Could this have a 'young and vibrant' spin put on it? Was OGS this years Martinez before appointing a 'safe pair of hands' under a new guise?

It's a bit 'conspiracy theory' even to me, but it's also plausible given the board appointed TSM isn't it?

Holloway whatever you think of him personally would be a disaster with our defence. Has anyone ever conceded treble figures in goals during a season in the premier? I'd reckon we'd come close

The horror of this is that it's showing parallels with our managerial search last season. Hopefully it won't have an equally poor outcome, I'm sure it won't.
