If the Baggies get Ralf Rangnick and we don't get a really top quality manager in I'm going to be pissed off.

WBA have a better ownership than Villa so stand a much better chance I'm afraid.
Are you on a wind up?

I think the only vibrant manager is Fat Sam. And that's thanks to his employers products.

heh. Its been bothering me ever since faulkner started using it so i finally checked the definition to make sure it meant what i thought.

1.Full of energy and enthusiasm. - see not many managers are like that. Can't think of one off the top of my head

2.Quivering; pulsating - now that would be worth seeing. Redknapp sort of twitches

I'm pretty sure I've often seen Terry Connor 'quivering', for what it's worth.

Let's look at the last 3 or 4 appointments/sackings and transfer dealings.

All this speculation, ITK bullshit etc is already wearing me out, really hope this dosent linger on into June, last year I went on hols in early June and was bombarded with texts with rumours all through the holiday, one of the final texts was that Randy was flying to Corsica which led me to believe that a top Italian is taking the reins only to find later that the Scottish manager was out there on holiday, please wrap this up before I go on the 4th of June, by the way I would like Gus Poyet or Eddie Howe.

Reset the poll, voted Poyet, as I like him.

Can someone please explain the Rangnick love-in? I admit to not knowing a fat lot about him but this doesn't exactly excite me when coupled with no trophies won apart from promotion.

Quote
However, the team would fail to progress beyond the group stage, and sat 10 points off the pace in the Bundesliga, as well as having crashed 0–6 in the DFB Cup to Eintracht Frankfurt. Shortly before the winter break, these factors forced the club to dismiss Rangnick.

Quote
but as their form nosedived in the second half of the 2003–04 season, Rangnick was fired after a 0–1 defeat at Borussia Mönchengladbach in March 2004.

Quote
their league form was mediocre and they were sat in the relegation zone by the halfway point. After their European exit in February 2001, VfB Stuttgart fired Rangnick.

Pat Murphy has just been on R5 twittering on, saying nothing because he knows nothing but trying to make out that he does!

Totally off this topic, R5 also reporting that Joey Barton banned for 12 games for his last day of season rush of blood! Deservedly so as well.
