I think he may need an older head alongside him as a coach and also someone that has some link to the club... or is that an old-fashioned view?

Brian Kid,  it must be our turn soon

Maybe he can hop around celebrating in our dug-out...

The more you look at it, the more logical it gets
I'd prefer him to some of the other dross knocking about
Fresh, vibrant & seems a smashing bloke
Seems like he plays football the right way too

Wolves have been criticised for appointing a guy who has won 5 Danish titles.
We are considering someone with one Norwegian title under his belt ?
Not saying it couldnt work, but how much homework has been done on this? I would hope that they have been looking in detail at his strengths and weaknesses possibly the day after the Bolton defeat and not just since Monday this week.

As someone said earlier, Martin Laursen as No2. Dream Team.

Do you think he might be too intelligent for some of our players ? Both in football terms and general nous.

OGS's success in Norway is not why he's in line for the job, but rather a result of the attributes he has, which is why we are interested in him.

I'm ok wih OGS. Lots of contacts in the game across Europe and in England. SAF appointed him reserve team coach at Manure for 2 seasons to build his knowledge. He is apparently a very good coach. Put some support behind him and back him in the tnsfer market and we could be a surprise.

I'm in!

I'm amazed so many people are blindly excited by this.

He may about to progress into the next Jose Mourinho, but wouldn't you like to see some fucking proof first?

Could he deal with troublemakers?  How much respect would he have?

Perhaps we're too big a club for him at his current stage of development?

Well the fact he's won more than the entire squad put together and played in bigger games than the entire squad might help.

That's the thing though, isn't it? If he goes on and proves it elsewhere, he won't be joining us afterwards. Might as well see if he can do it with us.

The last two managers have been 'experienced', what does that mean exactly? I'd be happier with OGS, or Laursen as No.1, than I would be with McCarthy, Bruce or Curbishley!

Maybe so, but I was kind of hoping one the attributes of the next Aston Villa manager was a career record of winning lots and lots and lots of football matches.
