I wonder how that guy who works at BHX feels about how he's completely changed the betting stakes for our new manager.

More powerful than you could possibly imagine!  I expect.

Dave Whelan:

"I have always said when a big club comes, I will give permission and they don't come any bigger than Liverpool."

Tosser.

He talks like he's sitting on Mourinho. Honestly, can anyone tell me what Martinez had actually done to afford all this talk?

Maybe its a red herring to get lamberts price out and he can bang all his cash on lambert - ha ha.

Anyway, I don't know why but I find the prospect of appointing OGS strangely exciting.  The sort of signing that John Blackwell would approve of, I'd have thought.

I was asking where he was the other night. I can't believe he hasn't signed up here again to talk about third division Norge players that will be the next Messi. At the age of 29.

fuck me Risso. He'll have had 4 paragraphs written about his upbringing, his pets and his bottle top collection before he delved into the merits of his managerial ability. Having done that, he'd have given us 14 more alternatives from Scandanavia, South America and some island just west of the moon, with a full breakdown on signings and how they draw arrows on the wipe board.

ps. you find it exciting because it would be completely different. Even I've been carried away with it all and I wasn't so sure earlier today.

Im still wondering where chris smith has gone?

He is everywhere, and nowhere all at once.

Risso's right, it's actually an exciting prospect. God knows we've had few enough of them for a couple of years. Signing Bent, maybe. Albrighton's game against West Ham. And that's about it.

I think he's a decent manager who tries to do things in the right way.  It's clear he's still learning his trade though, and I think he'll be a disaster for Liverpool if they appoint him.

Steve bruce and roy keane spent years under fergie but i certainly wouldnt want them- ogs will be a risk but he can hardly do worse than mcleish and seems a reasonable choice.

I think it's moreso that he would be capable of making our offense click. We have a lot more offensive talent than this past season shows, and RL knows he needs to right man to get it out of them. The youngsters I'm sure LOVE Solskjaer, and he could certainly help Gabby. He would use Ireland properly and see a lot more value in N'Zogbia than Eck did.

Dave Whelan really does my head in, always has done.  Typical northern flat cap corner shop gobshite.  Heard him gushing over Liverpool and it made me want to throw up.

I'm sold on Solskjaer by the way.  Like the cut of his jib and it would be a bold move by us.
