Apparently Randy's in Norway.
Solskjaer is the new bookies favorite.
This would certainly be an interesting appointment.

Hang on Greg, you want them - to use your own words - 'to look abroad' and then as soon as they do, they should stop pissing about and go for Lambert or Rodgers.

I'm fucking glad you weren't in charge of the D-Day landings. We'd have invaded Dorset

I already answered this Damon. Norway is not a top league abroad..  Presumably when i said look abroad you took that to mean anywhere from the isle of sky to Albania provided they have a league

Do you think Arsenal should never have gone in for Arsene Wenger when they brought him over from the Japanese League?

Ignorance.

He had already won the League with Monaco which is a lot different

That was nearly a decade before Arsenal went in for him. He won 2 trophies in 7 years; hardly mind blowing. It was a massive risk for Arsenal.

The fans hadn't even heard of him at all..... we've all heard of Solksjaer at least.

My only worry is could Ole handle out egos? He's not senior enough to put Dunne or Collins in their place. We would need an asst. coach to really focus on the defense. I don't think that's Solskjaer's specialty. However, I think he could make our midfield and strikers click. Goals galore.

Apparently.. Randy's plane has landed in Kristiansund, but no actual confirmation if Randy's even on the plane, or what his plans are. Bringing back Ole with him tomorrow?

I think some people won't be happy unless we get Mourinho and give him a couple of hundred million to spend.

Dave Whelan:

"I have always said when a big club comes, I will give permission and they don't come any bigger than Liverpool."

R5 just said that Liverpoo will be talking to more candidates than just Martinez!

Also, Clarke is still at Liverpoo, his resignation was not accepted! Interesting.

Steve bruce and roy keane spent years under fergie but i certainly wouldnt want them- ogs will be a risk but he can hardly do worse than mcleish and seems a reasonable choice.

I wonder how that guy who works at BHX feels about how he's completely changed the betting stakes for our new manager.

Fairly good, I guess he got his bet on before he disclosed the news!!

Re: Whelan, see he's whoring himself to the media again, just like last year.  I bet Liverpool wouldn't have made it public.  I bet they don't go for him.
