Do Wolves have any, any, decent players that would pop down the M6? No one has to move house. A consideration in these frugal and austere times. Randy has already laid his stall out as regards spending. We can match the wages for sure and probably pay less than they get presently. Going into the Championship involves a hefty reduction in wages and we know players are no longer motivated by emotional attachment to the club, unless you're the likes of Gabby, of course.
Roll on Mickmac and another 2nd hand season of wonderment and thrills.

You know it makes sense.

And his coaching staff will be headed by Roy Keane.
Brilliant..
Keane could slip in the side door and appoint Mick as his ..No..sorry. Too much jollity on a very serious theme!

Mysteryman on VT has stated that there is no truth in MM and we have identified who we want

Our board have sought genuine advice from within the game. This time, instead of going straight to the top (Fergie) we've gone closer to home, canvassing the opinions of our neighbours. I've heard they received a glowing report about MM from Wolves and it's only a matter of time before the big man is installed. Expect expensive flops like Bent, Ireland and Zog to be shown the door, and hungry players lke Jarvis, Henry and George Elokobi to bring the vibrancy that Paul Faulkner refers to back to Villa Park.

Deja vu perhaps?  McCarthy is this year's Steve McLaren.  Silly idea that fan reaction prevents from coming to fruition.  Then we get hopes of better options until reality of something even worse with a link to Blues....Steve Bruce!

This McCarthy lark is no done deal. They are only talking to people at the minute.

Another in the frame is Curbishley. Interviewed well when they appointed Houllier but they got cold feet at the fans reaction when his name was leaked.

Now we will accept pretty much anyone but McLeish he is high on the list of candidates again.

Bushes on VT is reporting that Randy's chopper has picked MM up from Florida and they are on their way to disney land.

More like La-La Land!

I am scared now. We know that this board are liable to do anything. Please be careful with the joke appointments, the board could pick up on this and land us with Fat Sam, Keane and Big Mick or some other waste of a season manager.

I rang my old mate Michael Elphick to see if he could give me a steer on the Curbishley thing, but the bastard won't answer his phone

They won't hire McCarthy it'd be utter suicide and completely alienate the fanbase further. Another manager who had led his side towards relegation.
