I keep seeing Gary Megson coming through on the rails, if for no other reason that we will all gladly welcome whoever else gets his nose in front on the line.

I'm following this line of thinking in order to be delighted if we get someone even half decent, which excludes McCarthy, Bruce etc.  I'm a glass half empty man at times like these.

Maybe he was contacted to get a view on other prospective options. If he's seen as an experienced head they maybe asked  him advice, contact doesn't have to be job related. It'll be Martinez, Lambert or Rodgers, a young and 'vibrant' manager.
