Just remember one thing, there were people on here insisting there was no way AM would be appointed an hour or so before he was.

Talking to a pissed villa fan down the pub and he wants that dog pudsey.  He's got a point
Calm the fuck down, everyone. There's no way it'll be Allardyce or Holloway.

I had a text earlier that McCarthy is definitely a runner. We could do a lot worse IMO

buh???

We just need to back the judgement of the board and roll with it. After all they know what's best for us!

Holloway, McCarthy or Allardyce would be a fucking disaster.

So it's a Northerner then? Director of t'football.

So its looking likely then, not the worst situation in the world.

Plus I imagine Damon has some decent meeja contacts - decent ITK here.

Guardian says Randy's flying in tomorrow. They also reckon that "Villa aim to move swiftly and are determined to secure a young and ambitious manager whose appointment will give the club an immediate lift." So we're not getting Mick McCarthy, at least.

How old is Fat Sam? Is he still classed as young? I wouldn't have thought so. Fingers crossed that story is true.

Who would work well with Coyle, given his time at Burnley and Bolton.
Check out @BoltonAlways on Twitter. He is trying to deny it.

Thinking about it, Big Sam did very well with a limited budget at Bolton.  If we're still cutting back, then he is the safe pair of hands the Scottish Manager wasn't to keep us safely in the PL.

Somebody just bet their 6 magic beans on Susan Boyle and she's now gone to 13/7.

She could do her own version of "The Bells Are Ringing" for the team to take to the pitch to!

I used to know Big Mick quite well when I covered Millwall for the local paper. His head is literally hexagonal, you know.

I might put a sneaky fiver on Brian Laws.  Claret & blue connection again.
