As I said McCarthy pretty much contradicts everything that has been said by the club since Mcleish was sacked, there is not a chance they're looking at him. Straight after a sacking you always get manager's jumping up and down the odds tables as people speculate. It's not going to be McCarthy, Bruce or anyone like that.

I hope not. Its been reported that KKK is due for meetings with the owners this week, but we need him to keep his job so a) Liverpool continue to be shite b) they are a more attractive proposition than Villa for any manager we may be looking at.
