I've seen Joachim Löw mentioned in the press.  Now with him at the front end and Klinsmann as DoF, to me would be a dream team.  (ok probably dreaming)

Joachim Low would be a brilliant appointment on every level, but probably beyond us I'd think. I'd be happy with Lambert or Martinez.

Rumours around merseyside that dalglish has just been sacked!

News hasn`t reached this part of Merseyside yet

Just heard it on car radio and liverpool refusing to comment .

A big story if it does get confirmed - would they want martinez though?

The bookies are rarely wrong and after Lerners monumentous fuck up with McCleish expect McCarthy to be Villa manager for next season.

Sky reporting mick mccarthy odds tumbled from 25-1 to 2-1 2nd favourite in last hour - surely they wouldnt would they?

fuck me eastie. Have you learnt nothing good comes from watching that bollocks 24-7? Do you think the board, that just put out a damning statement, really about themselves would fire McLeish, and then turn around and appoint McCarthy. The same McCarthy that has been fighting relegation with a local rival every year he's been in the PL?

How come AVB is 20/1 for baggies and 40/1 for Villa.

Exactly, we need to calm down a bit. The board's statement shows they understand now that we want compelling football and a vision. It's not going to be anyone like McCarthy, Bruce or Megson.

Toronto , seen ssn about 1 hour this week , hardly 24/7- just repeating the odds they have just quoted, im backing lambert but with randy and faulkner it could be anyone.

Yes. Who on Earth would have confidence in our board after the last appointment? Apart from people connected to Villa it really would be fucking hilarious though wouldn't it?? McLeish to McCarthy, it's like something out of some sick twisted nightmare. At least Randy might be sectioned after that appointment??

Because they don't have a clue where people are going.

Because they simply have not got a clue who will be going where...it's a small market and someones probably lumped £50 on AVB to Stripeyfilth

Maybe we're more realistic than Tescobag fans?
