If the rumours are correct, King Kenny might have just become available.  Anyone?

* TUMBLEWEED *

I'd rather hire a Tumbleweed than wee Jimmy Krankie, the loathesome scrote.

I heard he was going 'upstairs' at Liverpool with Martinez being linked to the managers job

AM's sacking yesterday was what we have all been waiting for.  We got our wish and can now look to the future with renewed hope and belief.   Then BANG!  I just remembered who owns our club and the complete and utter mess he made in the previous two appointments.    Lambert, Martinez,  Rodgers............it could easily be Curbs or Bruce or worse.    Feet firmly back on the ground today.

What about Martin Jol?  Cracking season at Fulham, European contacts and experience as well.

Not worth the hassle of uprooting him from Fulham.
He seems to be enjoying it there and good luck to him.

I still think that this is a chance. 33-1.
Have you had a bang on the head.First backing our ex-manager and now backing another one who takes sides down.

I really cant see Liverpool going after Martinez. Even for us it's a risk that requires imagination.
I dont think they have that luxury. The Dublin/Cornwall hordes will be asking for refunds on their duvet sets if they dont hit the ground running next season.

If wee Jimmy Krankie moves back under the stairs where he belongs, they'll go after a relative heavyweight.

If Wigan had Darren Bent up top this season instead of Di Santo or Sammon do you guys really think they'd of been as bad in the early part of the season? Yeah those are the players Martinez signed. But lets be honest what kind of good quality player would want to join Wigan anyway as apposed to EVERYONE else in the Premier League? They have like 100 fans in away games ffs!

In the early part of the season Wigan were battering sides and losing having not put the ball away. I think with the chances his style of football creates, we would be pretty good.

Exacly Bent up top, Nzogbia on the right, Ireland slipping balls though and new LW with a Martinez team. Sounds pretty darn good to me.

N'Nogbia 2 goals all season, Ireland 1 goal all season........these guys are not players to build the team around, they just ain't good enough no matter who is manager.

Ireland, Bent and Zogbia have been woefully used in the last 12 months. A decent manager playing football and you would get 7-10 goals from Ireland and Zogbia, and 15-20 from Bent.

I am not so sure. Remember Henry is sold on moneyball style of things, and may see Martinez as a type that can get the best out of the attributes of the players. I think he will do a cracking job at either, and if he goes to Liverpool they will be a force next season. Kenny has been clueless for a long time, but they still have some good players.
