Also, if it is him then I hope Lambert does a Pardew and suits up.

Tracksuit managers always look so amateurish.

In order of preference for me:-

Martinez
Rodgers
Lambert

Martinez has the right combination of playing the right way and that bit of experience of dealing with Premiership numpty players, to make him my number one realist's choice. I really like how Rodgers has conducted himself and he appears to want to do things the right way - I'd just be a bit concerned with whether or not he could deal with the egos at a big Premier League club. Lambert is third, as I am less convinced about his footballing philosophy. Norwich have played some great stuff and he looks like he could deal with the big name players, I'm just a little unhappy with a manager who doesn't want to play a major role in the players training a la MON. I think he could still be successful, I just think people like that will get found out at the very top level, a la MON...

Quote
Ian Culverhouse was named Colchester United assistant manager under Paul Lambert. Culverhouse, Lambert and 'football operations manager' Gary Karsa all resigned from Colchester to take up positions at Norwich City on 17 August 2009.

So he takes his #2 with him everywhere, as well as his 'football operations' guy. What are 'football operations'? I assume that's someone who identifies players for him, so perhaps a step toward the DoF style?

Would Randy risk letting a manager bring in his whole backroom staff again incase of a MON-esque walkout?

Whoever comes to us I hope they do it quickly and get the appointment correct. If Lambert comes, I hope he doesn't bring too many Norwich players with him.

I repeat they will be very careful not to fuck up the next appointment after what's happened this season. The won't hire Grant after he took West Ham and Pompey down.

If we took Lambert I wouldn't mind Holt, Johnson and possibly Hoolahan.
If we took Rodgers, I'd take either one of their CM (the past passing rates in the league this season by both. Better than Scholes). I also wouldn't be adverse to Sinclair, or that striker who's on their bench quite a lot. Luke something or other...he he.

If we took Martinez I'd take one of their CM and Moses.

If we took Grant. I'd take a cyanide capsule.

Lambert as manager, Heskey gone, sell Gabby, get Rhodes and Holt (great name - dodgy spelling) and that Bas Dost to give a front two from a choice of...

Bent    Holt    Rhodes   Wiemann   Bas Dost

All bases covered. Height, pace, muscle, promise and experience.
Gives the option to change systems in a game to revert to a plan B.

Who ever comes in must have a big clear out.
Dunne
Collins
Hutton
Warnock
and although it hurts to say, maybe Gabby
