I would hate to have Di Canio at our club. If it was a choice between him and McLeish it would be AM every day of the week.

Why?

Why wouldn't we want a young, talented up and coming manager with a bit of passion? Or are we to believe that Paolo Di Canio is a facist or something like that.

I'd much rather have Di Canio, than Mcleish and his dour, shit, embarrassing attempt at management.

Too much passion, you could say. His exact phrase was "I'm a fascist, but I'm not a racist". Can't say I want that at our club.

So if Mourinho said he was a fascist you would turn him down?

Personal views and all that...

Well, yes, I would turn him down. If nobody lives or dies on the basis of your employment judgement, you can afford to have a little moral leighway (leeway?). There are personal views and then there's being public about your fascism.

Yes.

And some personal views are so repugnant that I really wouldn't want our club anywhere near them.

I'd give it Southgate.

I want someone who's got some feeling for the club.

Whaaaaat?
The bloke who had to get away to play European football and then joined Middlesbrough???

Also a guy that insisted on having pictures of the European Cup winners in the dressing room as he felt that was where the club should be aiming.

Which was where I was coming from, thank you Dante.

There is only Terry Connor and Steve Kean from the Premier League that I wouldn't swap for McLeish.  He's such a crap Manager.  We have a useless selection process for Managers though, we'd probably offer Wolves ten mill for Connor.

Our market maybe 'emerging' Championship 'talent', or in other words someone who misses out on the play-offs - who can also wheel & deal.

Holloway.

I said Holloway elsewhere!! Almost got shot for it!!  You're right though.  Holloway, Mowbray, Warnock, Hughton (oh no, not again!!), Dave Jones, Poyet.  Not an inspiring list really is it? Ranieri and Fat Rafa it is then (yeah right!!).

Crikey.

I can't believe anyone would want that moron Holloway here. He who referred to us as "a half arsed club who used to be famous" all of a year and a bit ago.

Dunno. On their current form of picking managers that are guaranteed to piss off the support, i'd say he was at least on the board's shortlist.
