I want Sir Graham Taylor appointed to the board and allowed to interview and decide on our manager, Lerner's track record even in American football suggests he would be no more successful in his choice than he was in hand picking mcloser

Anyone but AM, but I can't see Lerner swallowing his pride. We are stuck with the ginger spud, but for what it is worth I would go with Lambert or that Flores guy who wanted to join us last year.

I'd like to think that he'd want the challenge of managing one of the most noteworthy clubs in world football.  Even if he see's Villa as a stepping stone to another club and leaves after a few seasons it'd mean we've been succesful during his tenure.

I'm a little confused about the Lambert love-in. Didn't I read on here that when we played Norwich some people thought they had one of the worst defences seen at Villa Park in a long time?

you might not like what he said, but he was spot on in my view, thats exactly where we are, and we need someone who is going to come in and say 'this place stinks, and i'm gona change it' pull no punches
