Who said there's been no bids?  We're notorious for not letting anything out, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's been several enquiries/bids we haven't heard about!
Exactly. The proper way to do things, nice and quietly.

Lambert said in Todays evening mail there have been no bids
Not surprising. Most of our players were woeful last season and the one's we'd actually let go are absolute shit. We'd be lucky to shift them, we just need to hope someone with poor taste takes the likes of Hutton, Warnock and Collins off our hands.

May have been no bids but that doesn't mean there have been no enquiries.

and how do you know what Budget Mr Lambert have for Villa. He might have 40 millions pounds but not telling anyone as he want to get value for money and when he is ready there will be blockbuster signing when the right player become available.

Am I the only one who finds the Hutton exclusion a little odd if there wasn't some interest in him? I assumed that (added to the fact he's woeful) was the reason he was left behind - the club were expecting to shift him.

Lets hope TSM gets a job soon .

I was surprised he did not get the Forest job infront of the Crawley town bloke. Seems a strange choice for Forest to make. At least TSM has some pedigree on his CV, our experience last season left of said CV, of course, but a good bloke to try and get them back in the Prem, in my view.

I can't see an English team going near him for the foreseeable future.

I’d like to see us try Bannan in the deep lying play maker role.  After Pirlo’s performance v England at the Euros I’d imagine that this position may become more popular.
Cant understand why no one thought of useing a midfield playmaker before.

Bannan has all the talent to be an absolute star in the centre of the park as long as he is well protected. I would still like us to sign someone like that Doumbia chap from Rennes to sit with KEA and give Bannan the space to hurt people.

How crazy of them to re-employ the most successful manager in their history.

re. O'Driscoll, he was at  forest last season and some senior players approached the new owners to ask them to bring him back. Did a good job at doncaster, genuinely think they would have stayed up if   they had  kept faith in him
