Nah, it's gone too far now. By all accounts they (the board) are desperate to get us back into some sort of order.
Were a wretched tentative mess on the pitch under this guy whoever is fit or available. It wont have escaped the board whatever you think of them.
This is not the plan.

We're a week or less away from something happening in my opinion.
And by God it has to.

I echo that thought, and frankly if the board wants to be considered competant for its task then Maz must be right. There is genuinely no sane reason for Mcleish to keep his job, being a 'nice guy' is not a reason.

What have you heard Fletch?
A lot of the backroom staff have lobbied to keep him, they love the bloke and enjoy working for him.
Yes ok but Aston Villa is an elite sports club and not a City Council.

You can almost hear the tumbleweed rolling by in this thread.

Drastic change is needed this summer.

Seems to me he's only popular with all the fuckers who don't have to pay to watch his abominable football.

I'd take Frimpong on loan.

If Le Arse sign M'Villa from Stade Rennes they might be receptive to letting Frimpong go on a permanent deal.

Loans that just help other sides develop their players might be okay for Bolton and Wigwam, but it shouldn't be what we're about.

Frimpong for keeps would be brilliant

Pointless speculating what players will be moving to Villa Park as we will have new manager and new ideas and outlook. Say we appoint an Italian, we probably be linked to players in Italian League.

I'd be concerned if we laid out a transfer fee for players now, as it'd be an indication our leaders had gone utterly fucking bonkers and opted to keep this doomish merchant of dire football in their employ.

Said this the other day. It really doesn't matter who we a linked to. The new bloke, and I am completely convinced there will be a new bloke might have completely different ideas and targets. It's stupid seaspn and every club is linked to numerous players, 98% of whom they will never sign, and indeed have never been interested in to begin with.
