Week to week you never know what the line-up will be. We need Gabby to lead us today as we will miss Stan.

Gabby's the skipper today.  Fantastic stuff.

Brilliant. Well deserved my son. Everything feels right about today.

Yes.

What could possibly go wrong?

They will all need to work hard and close down Wigan. I'm not convinced that you must have a bully in the midfield though I understand the benefits of having one. Keep the ball, knock it around and when you lose it work your bollocks off to win it back. If we do that today we will win.

Walnuts or No nuts? *winky*

As long as the players know they're in for a battle, I don't think there's too much to worry about.

I hope Weimann gets a chance today (as a victory cigar type of sub) as I think he has ability and is a good finisher.

Come on Villa, be positive!

Gabby as captain...dunno...always think the job is better suited to a defender or midfield clogger. It can be distracting to a creative attacking player. Remember what happened when Henry took the role at Arsenal. Given may have been my choice...

Anyone got a link that's showing football rather than a kiddie's cartoon?
