with that line up i can see goals, it looks very lightweight in midfield, Bannan needs to play sensibly today,

Although we have attacking players, I hope McLeish won't use negative tactics, even if we're winning.

Just look at the defensive traits. The midfield is very lightweight, the defence in general is a pile of rubbish. Need to keep attacking all the way. If we sit back then expect Wigan to get easy chances.

As an aside, its reasonably impressive in the current state of the PL to have four players from the youth academy starting a league game.

I'm wondering if we've ever fielded a fully home grown midfield before?

Interesting selection.
Slightly worried about our "soft centre" (and Warnock)but the talent for good attacking football is there.
3 much needed points please.

Bloody hell, that midfield is lightweight, I'd have put Herd in to add a bit of steel.
Oh, well...fingers crossed.

Interesting line-up today. Attacking, but a little lightweight looking. Would have thought, as they're available, maybe starting with Ireland and Zog would have been preferable...imagine they will both feature at some point. Hopefully AMc hasn't set out too much of a defensive strategy with that lot...
