Collins and Cuellar looked a solid pair at Wolves away last season and providing they stay fit, they should do ok.
That was a superb defensive performance. Then I'm sure Cuellar was dropped straight after.

Hutton Cuellar Collins Baker should be good enough against the next few teams that are ever so slightly worse than us.

Baker must be in with a shout of coming in at left back with Cuellar shuffling across. One of the few bright spots on the horrible game at the weekend was not seeing Warnock feck up 18 times in the first 5 minutes.

In the corresponding fixture against Wigan last year, Baker played left back and did ok - which is all he needs to to to improve the team.

A year on he should be a better player, although I doubt it.

This can only spell trouble.

Two months of him lying on his sofa stuffing endless packets of Bourbons and Wagon Wheels into his fat talking piece.

He'll be about 22 stone by the time he's ready to come back.

You mean he'll actually lose some timber then?

Haha. Good stuff.

I'd imagine Dunne's season is over.

N'zogbia would play at LB if we really got desperate I'd reckon.

Hopefully Collins and Cuellar will stay fit for Wigan and then Clark should come back into contention after that. Herd could play at CB aswell.

Can't see it making much difference, we don't keep clean sheets as it is so I'd rather the strikers stay fit.

I'm not too worried to be honest. There's not really anyone in our side who's done enough this season to count themselves as indispensible, least of all one of our defenders. Dunne's been stinking average, standing above the terrible performers alongside him at the back this season.

I'd like to see Carlos get a run. Baker could play centre-back, maybe allow Lichaj at left back because he's got a little bit of pace, at least in comparison to Carlos or Baker playing FB. I wouldn't want Warnock back.

I seem to be the only one that rates him on here :)

anyway we will get a chance to see how Carlos Cuellar really is the second coming of Bobby Moore over the next few weeks in his absence.

Very slack now in terms of cover at centre half now. Collins has had a couple of niggling injuries of late too. Left back is a bomb zone. Thank god for Hutton  :o

With little protection in midfield, we will really need to seriously increase our goals scored tally until the end of the season.
