This is all about thick people seeking attention and nothing to do with what is the right thing for the Villa.

Perfectly summarised.

It can only be counterproductive.  It'll put the manager, coaches and players on edge (even more so than usual at home, maybe) and some of the fans hostile.

How can this possibly help the team?

Well thank goodness for that.  I was struggling to remember the date of a) Bonfire Night and b) Villa's last home win, so was delighted to see "(November 5)"....

Nothing can help the team.  They will be playing Man City.

*chuckle*

Maybe air cover? Or mining certain areas of the pitch.

Well, yes.  While I agree with that, if we come out at them and play attaking football (as we can) then we could at least keep the scoreline down and hold our heads up.  With this hanging over us, we could have another Liverpool at home game.

I invite all PROPER fans to join me at 3pm on Sunday at The McGregor Statue for an anti protest protest.
The plan is to stand around in the cold looking  silly and embarrassed for fifty minutes before entering the ground.
Let's face it that's a better idea than sitting in a nice warm pub having a drink with your mates and then going to the match to give our team the vocal support it needs.

Proper fans? A load of the Proper, Super, Best fans in the world won't be there, they won't step foot in Villa Park while McLeish is there you see.
