The only story in this region is Aston Villa, good or bad. The rest are insignificant.

True. Any positive stories about Villa get a lot of interest from the many Villa fans and any negative Villa stories get the attention and reaction of our fans and also fans of all the other West Midlands clubs who love every word of criticism we get.

Prior to Wolves at City , WM on a news report in the day were looking towards the match. They mentioned last time they played at Molineux and it finished 1-1

What got my goat was they described it as "A courageous draw". Can you imagine them ever using such complimentary language for the Villa?

What WM don't mention is that the mighty Wolves are nearer a relegation spot than a European spot in terms of points ..... but I guess Wolves fans won't wish to talk about their defeat last night it will be all about us ...... little club fans having a jealous at the big club lol

What WM never mention in that first wolves v man city of the season is  that the wolves goal was a blatant handball and city hit the woodwork at least twice and played the dingles off the park for most of the game

Talking of wolves, Man city fan colleague was at their match on Monday, said the Wolves fans started singing "You're just a shit Man United" to which the home fans replied with "You're just a shit Aston Villa". Which I imagine they liked.

Why were Man City boycotting the game?

Would you want to go out on a cold Monday night to watch Wolves?

Quote from Birmingham Live
"Zoe Ball has kicked off her tenure at the helm of the biggest breakfast radio show in Europe - and there was a Black Country voice backing her up.
Richie Anderson, who will be familiar to many in this region from Radio WM, has a permanent slot as one of Team Zoe on the new show.
The West Brom-supporting broadcaster will support Ball and give travel updates on the show."

Chris Evans has been mentoring him.

I also went to this with a Wolves supporting mate and would question the above as the Man City fans barely made a peep for the entire game. The price of success has been the heart and soul of the club, utterly horrible half and half scarf hell.

Yeah, it just shows what money has done to the mentality of many football fans now. Instant success is almost demanded, glory hunters a-plenty....I reckon it's symptomatic of our smartphone society where I can get 2 hour delivery from Amazon if I want, where I can complain on TripAdvisor from my restaurant table that I'm STILL waiting for my diet coke after 8 minutes of asking the waiter !!!!!!!!

It's sad cos I've always regarded citeh fans as solid supporters who would follow their team in the 3rd division in their hoardes.

How times have changed. Then again, would us villa fans be any different after recent years of oligarch billions ?

It also slipped their minds that wolves equaliser came courtesy of a blatant handball to get that " courageous draw"

Edit: apologies for repeating pooligans points. Only just noticed.
