There are different types of wingers. Ones who stay wide and get the ball in and ones who are basically a wide striker. Walcott is the latter and still much better than Aaron Lennon in my opinion.

Incredibly, I read in The Times this morning that Downing hasn't created or scored a goal for Liverpool in the league as yet.

That takes some doing, even one of us lot would probably manage to do it by accident if we were in his position.
