Adidas  please

For a club of Villa's size you'd have thought we'd go for someone like this but Lerner's continuing downgrading of the club even stretches to who manufactures the kit. It's Macron, not Adidas. A firm that makes kits for cheap and cheerful lower league clubs.
Pathetic.

Macron is the 2012 version of Henson - and we know what happened that year. Not happy with this .

Look at the teams who have Nike kits:

Clubs - Arsenal, Man United, Barcelona, Juventus, Inter Milan

National teams - Brazil, France, Holland, Portugal, Serbia, USA, Korea, Australia

It is good for Aston Villa to be associated with those teams.

Those teams are exactly the reason why Nike couldn't give the slightest fuck about Villa. As showed by the duff off-the-hanger strips of the last two seasons and the fact they couldn't be arsed to produce one of them till halfway through the season.

And Macron supply kits to Sheffield Utd, Millwall and Charlton.

Blimey, we're going places.

They do West Ham's strips? Maybe we'll get lumbered with their previous season's wares. The kit-stealers being kit-stolen...who wudda thunk it?

Is it? Oh, little Aston Villa should be so fucking grateful that Nike has time to give us a shoddy kit, a bit late, and not a full range of the stuff, but it's okay! Because they work with United and Barca.

Macron work with Napoli and Mallorca. Napoli is a club with much higher ambitions than us right now. Should they run off to Nike because Macron dare work with smaller clubs too?

Pointless argument really. There's two strong thought processes, and both make sense to certain degrees.

They're the best kits we've had for years. If you want to see a 'poxy' kit you'll only have to take a look at Macron' portfolio. Utter utter shit, fit for the lower leagues.

The best kit's we've had for years, which have either been recycled from France or a basic template that they use for Arsenal.

I've seen Macron's portfolio, at least they put work in.

I've stated, not my first choice. But I'd prefer them to Nike.

I'm pretty sure he isn't impressed by their clients and portfolio.

The kits in the first couple of seasons of Nike were the best we've had in years. Since then, they've been terrible. And half a season late too, as I mentioned.

The club are going to make a lot more money with a company that can be arsed to get the strip out in time. People are less inclined to wear t-shirt and/or shorts in the winter.
