My opinion is skewed because I thought Palace were shit in those 2 games and I expected us to win both. The problem was we weren't good enough either. They are very good off the ball though, well organised and a threat on the transition. Eze, Wharton and Mateta make a big difference for them and Sarr seems to have found some form.

Sarr seems to be one of those players who will always play out of his skin against us. Hopefully the daft bigot gets injured.

Can we go and win the thing first? Palace have become a bit of a bogey team lately. We've been smashed at their place the last 2 times and we should have won the 2 home games we've had this season and didn't.

I thought Palace were comfortably the better side in the Villa Park meeting in the League Cup.

I didn't think they were that much better. They just punished our mistakes and we didn't theirs. They scored from the only two chances they put on target. The last goal came from one of Diego's famous passes into the space on the edge of the box whilst under no pressure.

The Reform UK party had a rally in Birmingham the other day.
However people from all around attended.

Did anyone here attend?
I wouldn’t agree with them politically but I think it’s only fair and have no issue as such if there are H and Vs who did attend or indeed support Reform

However I would ask them to think why they would be wanting to endorse such policy.

Now this is fucking trolling. Nothing at all about this is anything to do with Villa, fans or celebrities. Ask these questions on the Politics thread, and IF you just don't want to go into off-topic, don't post it.

Not really. The rally was in Birmingham.
I can consider it to an extent it’s off topic . However I do feel you have to be consistent as there are threads - see Dubai amoung others - that go off topic but also that particular one descended into very degrading language.

This celebrity thread is in regards all things  celebrity is it not ? so it’s a wide umbrella and unfortunately politics crossover with celebrity.

Besides I do my best to keep a link to spirit and specifics of thread best I can but there has been plenty of deviation on other topics by all and sunny yet you tend to pick on anything I post .

I’ll consider that it’s not relevant on this occasion but do stop other posters as well otherwise youre singaling me out unnecessarily.

Only try to raise discussion for heavens sake.

The cynic in me thinks his reply to Som was already typed and ready to go as he knew it was going to get a response so yes, he/they knew exactly what they were doing.

Make of this what you will Leon Bailey in his back garden on his quad bike.

Hear Stephanie Hope saying he’s out there in the rain on his quad bike !

I mean usually it’s in a players contract or code of agreement that they can’t partake in certain sports which can run a risk to their playing career and get injured.

Water sports , ski and snow boarding are some and would have thought quad biking in rain was a risk!

It absolutely is. It just shows a blatant disregard for the club and all we are hoping to achieve this season. But what can we do?

I was there. I think Reform are addressing a lot of issues which the other parties seem to be deliberately avoiding. Their message is easy to understand, not being wrapped in political speech and waffle. But Off Topic is really the place for this sort of debate.
