Populists always make solutions sound so simple, so I'm not surprised.

The Reform UK party had a rally in Birmingham the other day.
However people from all around attended.

Did anyone here attend?
I wouldn’t agree with them politically but I think it’s only fair and have no issue as such if there are H and Vs who did attend or indeed support Reform

However I would ask them to think why they would be wanting to endorse such policy.
I was there. I think Reform are addressing a lot of issues which the other parties seem to be deliberately avoiding. Their message is easy to understand, not being wrapped in political speech and waffle. But Off Topic is really the place for this sort of debate.
There is easy to understand and then there’s the actual content of the messages And What’s the message you say this party is giving out ?

Come on, it's obvious! Immigration is much too high. Get that down and many of the country's problems will evaporate more or less immediately.  Trump gets it.

The party don’t want this country to have any Diversity, Equality or Inclusion. That’s the message.

You can have too much of all of those. Just employ people according to merit. Everyone gets the same start these days.

Water sports , ski and snow boarding are some and would have thought quad biking in rain was a risk!

Getting wazzed on can’t be that risky can it?

Illegal immigration needs to be stopped. We can all agree there.
This smart immigration for international students is an interesting concept but imagine it won’t be a fair and just system.

Anyway I sure you had been given some insights and like to think you weren’t one of those queuing for selfies with Anderson.
Heard from undercover journalists.

However much respect to you for sharing and thank you GJ.

Now will get back on topics as such.

It absolutely is. It just shows a blatant disregard for the club and all we are hoping to achieve this season. But what can we do?

Sell him?

Anyway I DID have a brief chat with Lee Anderson, as it happens and he confessed to a bit of a soft-spot for Villa. So it IS on topic to post about him: a top-level politician who's a Villa fan is definitely on topic!
