The whole song:

Surprised it's his first time playing Villa Park.

Obviously good for me that I could watch this, but it is literally a sea of mobile phones.

As for Villa Park, I have been surprised it hasn't been used a lot over the years. The only things I can remember were Billy Graham, Bruce Springsteen, Take That, and the Foo Fighters. I know the Joeys rented it once or twice and I also think one year there was also a scramble bike course made on the pitch.

The Joeys?

Duran Duran.

I think there's been one of two boxing tournaments held there but not too sure.  Dave W would confirm.  Danny McAlinden?

McAlinden fought there and the ring collapsed. Barry White, Rod Stewart, Duran Duran, Bon Jovi.

Definitely a couple of heavyweights in that lot.

The Joeys?

Joey Witnesses. They had their annual summer assembly a local football ground in the 80's / early 90's. Mostly at Wolves and Coventry grounds and at least once at Villa Park.

Apparently the SAS held a big group meeting at Villa Park

But they were in and out without anyone knowing

Think the game where Shearer and Sutton scored three was at Ewood Park.

Glen Tilbrook played a couple of numbers at a Player of the Year awards thing in the Holte Suite during the Gregory era when  it was a fiver a ticket and you could mingle with the players.
